Shotgun Wedding (2013) Review by Ed_Blackadder from Mrs Miggins' Pie Shoppe
This is definitely an original take on the 'found footage' Horror andit almost worked. It looked to me as if with a rewrite to pick up theslack in between 'events' it would have been a huge success but what wedo have is still pretty good. It's basically the wedding video fromhell, where everything that can go wrong, does go wrong but in thefunniest and most horrific way imaginable. The best way to describe theformat of this movie is to call it a "bipolar" Horror/Comedy.

A lot of the cast I recognised from various movies like 'Not AnotherTeen Movie' and 'The Truman Show' which admittedly helped keep thismovie from being a flop which it could so easily have been had it nothad such great characters to keep us interested. The writing isn't toobad either but as I said, a rewrite would have made a huge difference.

The bottom line is, it's a fresh take on an already saturated genre,the acting is solid and carries the movie, patchy script (the ups areOK but the lows are too low), the gore is excellent with most of theeffects being set up well and it's fun to watch.
